Framework, renowned for its commitment to modular and repairable computing, has unveiled its first desktop PC, the Framework Desktop. This compact 4.5-liter Mini-ITX system is powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI Max processors, aiming to deliver high-performance computing in a small form factor.

Key Features:
- Powerful Processing: Equipped with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max processors, the desktop offers up to 16 CPU cores with a 5.1GHz boost clock and integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. This configuration supports up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5x memory, enabling 1440p or higher gaming and handling intensive creative workloads.
- Customizable Design: The chassis features 21 interchangeable front tiles, allowing users to personalize the appearance. Magnetic side and front panels facilitate easy access for maintenance and upgrades.
- Modular Expansion: Similar to Framework’s laptops, the desktop includes customizable front I/O ports through expansion cards, offering flexibility in connectivity options.
- Efficient Cooling: Collaborations with Cooler Master and Noctua have resulted in a cooling system that manages the high-performance components effectively within the compact enclosure.
