Fab in Launcher is now available

1

Epic Games has announced the integration of its Fab digital marketplace directly into the Epic Games Launcher, eliminating the need for developers to switch between platforms when acquiring game assets.

Fab is now available in the Epic Games Launcher, making it faster and more convenient to grab Fab marketplace content for your projects. Access Fab’s entire library of diverse assets—and all of your Fab acquisitions—without having to leave the Launcher.

Enhanced Workflow for Developers

The new launcher integration allows users to browse Fab’s extensive asset library without interrupting their development workflow. The Unreal Engine Marketplace is now Fab — a new marketplace from Epic Games giving all digital content creators a single destination to discover, share, buy and sell digital assets.

To access the new feature, developers need to update to the latest version of the Epic Games Launcher. Once updated, Fab appears in the left navigation panel under the Unreal section, providing immediate access to the marketplace’s comprehensive asset collection.

Part of Epic’s Broader Marketplace Strategy

This launcher integration continues Epic’s consolidation of its various marketplaces under the Fab brand, which launched in October 2024 as a unified platform replacing the previous Unreal Engine Marketplace and other Epic-owned content stores.

The integration supports Epic’s goal of creating a seamless ecosystem for digital content creators, offering developers immediate access to thousands of ready-to-use assets without leaving their primary development environment.

Developers can begin using Fab in the launcher immediately after updating their Epic Games Launcher to the latest version.
